Wedding dresses with bows are huge this season…literally and figuratively. We’re seeing them mostly tied on (and off the shoulder) but look for them on detachable trains and veils as well. While they come from the “Coquette” aesthetic that’s everywhere right now, the bridal interpretation of the trend is refreshingly tame and wearable.

Real-Life Royal Vibes

From the coronation last year to the recent disappearance (and subsequent reappearance) of Princess Kate, Prince Harry’s tell-all, and Meghan Markle’s anticipated return to the small screen–it’s easy to see why the royals are on our minds. This was evident on the runways. From long lace sleeves and modest necklines, to cinched waists and full skirts, you’ll see nods to all of your real-life noble favorites across royal wedding dresses.

Princess Bride Fantasy

The beginning of this decade was rocky, to say the least… let’s not relive it, but we know it’s true. We’re all still recovering, so it’s no wonder that we’re diving head-first into any and every fantasy we can get our hands on, and nowhere is that escapism more present than in fashion.
