Exposed Corsetry

This has to be the #1 trend this season. Exposed corsetry, like visible boning and bra cups, was featured by LITERALLY every designer we carry–and we’re loving it. Gone are the days of questionable fit and worrying about falling out of strapless dresses. Designers have finally perfected the bra-top corset for the modern woman and they’re celebrating by showing it off. These corsetry details give a nod to their ancestors, but thanks to cutting-edge textiles, they offer more freedom and movement so you get the support without having to sacrifice comfort–WIN, WIN.

A Little Leg

Be it ballgowns or column dresses, there were leg slits everywhere you looked, and why not? From sheer corsets to barely-there “naked” dresses, skin is in and a leg slit is a fun approachable way to work the trend into your wedding day look. A leg slit is also a great way to lighten an otherwise head-to-toe formal look that can get pretty toasty on a hot day–especially for a Florida wedding. Plus, you get to show off your wedding shoes!

Lace Accents

There were still a few minimalist looks on the runway but overall, we’re seeing ornate details come back slowly but surely, especially lace. While there were a few full-lace dresses, we especially loved the dresses that had delicate lace strategically placed along the neckline or on the bodice to highlight the waist.

Ready to try on these baddies? They will start arriving in September so don’t wait! Get your appointment scheduled now!
