You spend so much time, energy, and money turning your wedding dreams into a reality. And then POOF! It’s true what they say, your wedding day is gone in the blink of an eye and all that remains are the amazing memories, and of course, the photos. That’s why it’s so important to make sure your photos are on-point.
Steaming Your Dress

While our brides receive their gowns pressed and ready to walk down the aisle, if you’re traveling with your gown (even a short car ride) you may notice a few small wrinkles depending on the fabric. Ironing your wedding gown is a big NO, but steaming it is definitely encouraged. Steam is a delicate way to make sure your dress is wrinkle-free and looking its best for your big day. You can ask your wedding planner or venue if they have a steamer you can use or you can always BYOS[teamer] like this portable one.
Ask Someone To Adjust Your Train

If you’re like most brides, then your wedding day is the first time you’ll be wearing a dress with a train. Everything from sitting and walking to turning around requires a little extra thought. This is where you can really lean on your bridesmaids or wedding planner for help. Whether it’s right before you walk down the aisle or during your couple’s portrait session, it’s always a good idea to have someone on train watch. Ask someone to spread your train out before you walk down the aisle to make sure you get the full effect. Then, before you pass your bouquet to your Maid of Honor, ask her to sweep your train to the front as you face your soon-to-be husband or wife.
Double-sided Fashion Tape

A well-fit wedding dress should keep everything where it needs to be (if you catch our drift). But, that being said, you can never be too safe. We always recommend that brides use a bit of double-sided fashion tape along the neckline to keep your gown in place. Another pro tip: use a dab of eyelash glue on your necklace to keep it from turning on your special day.
Well there you have it, now all that’s left is to find the gown. Schedule your appointment today and let our expert stylists do the rest.
