Bridesmaid lines have really stepped up their mix-and-match capabilities and we’re loving the options! With a ton of different cuts in each color, each of your girls is sure to find something they love that fits their own body shape and personal aesthetic. So, how do you ensure your mix-and-match bridesmaids’ dresses still look cohesive? We recommend selecting a line for them to choose from and 1-3 complementary colors from the line. It’s also a good idea to choose a length so that you don’t end up with some bridesmaids that look like they’re going to a cocktail party and others that are dressed for black-tie.
Your Bridesmaid Color Forecast
Color is trickling back into weddings little by little and we love the options on the horizon for 2023. For spring and summer weddings slate blue and sage green are going to be really popular. For fall emerald green and claret (think deep red wine) are having a moment and, of course, you can’t go wrong with navy blue. Taupe is really the only neutral on our forecast for the coming year and the beauty is, it can work for any season!
The Fabrics We’re Loving
While chiffon is still our most popular fabric, we’re seeing a lot more of the new silky satins that are so in right now. The great thing about a satin dress, especially one with a midi hem length, is that your girls can totally wear it again (like for real). Crepe is also becoming super popular in bridesmaid dresses, it’s a matte (sometimes stretchy) fabric that feels great and looks good on everyone!
